Well, so far 2011 has started off well. I'm very proud and excited to be
a part of my girl Morgan La Rue's opening night at the Monterey Club
in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, February 5th 2011!
Tonight Savy gave my acts his seal of approval, so now I REALLY can't wait!
The later part of 2010 was crazy, with tons of events, performances and meetings.
We also moved into a beautiful new apartment in early December! I will post pictures
one day very soon. New Year's was perfect with a great gig at an awesome friend's party,
I could not have asked for a better start to 2011.
Sadly, Modernesque Burlesque is no longer a functioning troupe. I'm back on my own again,
but that's ok with me. The bookings keep coming, I have a creative outlet - what more can I ask for?

but this event is a fundraiser to help out Modernesque's own co-founder Angie Z.
She was carjacked at knifepoint a few weeks back, so a ton of local talent
including bands, comedians, etc. have teamed up with us to throw her this

In other news, due
to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to attend Fetishcon. :-(
However, Savy and I did visit Tampa for a couple of days, where we had the
oppurtunity to visit
The Castle. What an amazing place! I can't wait for another
chance to go to Tampa just to visit this gorgeous, opulent club again.

Happy Summer Solstice everyone! It's certainly going to be a hot one.
Tonight was our
last rehearsal for "Rag Doll" before the audition tomorrow.
Modernesque, here we come! My outfit is complete, my pasties have arrived,
and we have it together really well. I'm excited. :-)
This past week was insane, with parties and events galore.

Today I finished
shopping for Savy's birthday ~ I can't wait until everything gets here!

It was a great
show with tons of lovely ladies,
and I even landed an audition in a couple of weeks.

It has been an incredibly busy couple of months.
I had the opportunity to shoot with the talented and uber-friendly DigitalVoid Photography!
I have some brand new fashion and fire photos from him ~ I am currently working on the galleries.

I always update this blog on the 13th of the month, but I missed March's blog because
Savy and I were on vacation in Orlando. We had some wet weather but we still had a blast!
In other news, I am officially attending my first Fetishcon as a model!
I will also be performing for the South Florida Tattoo Expo!
August is going to be packed with events and exposure - I can't wait!

Well, here is my finished tattoo! It took 2 1/2 hours, and let me tell you, the rib area is not a fun place to get inked. However, it was totally worth it. I'm so happy the itching is almost completely gone!

Here are some things I am proud of from 2009:
I did a lot of traveling with Savy ~ we went to Disney, St. Augustine and North Carolina
I pulled myself out of a pretty serious depressive phase
I found a day job that supports and likes me for who I am
I made lots of changes to simplify my life
I became pretty good at playing the drums on medium in Rock Band! :-)

Well, it's a new year and I'm working on a brand new look for the site. I'm very excited to be back up and running again after a long hiatus. It has been a long year of difficult lessons, but I have learned a lot and I will be a stronger person for it. I figured we would start the year out right with a couple's massage and finally getting our tattoos! Mine is the one pictured below, it will be on my left side from the ribs down. Savy's is similar and it will be on his left shoulder. We are booked for January 18th, and I can't wait!
